Who should control Western Sahara?

.PRACTICALLY 50 YEARS have passed given that Morocco professed sovereignty over Western Sahara, a cut of property that stretches for 900km along the Atlantic coast to the nation’s south. The Polisario Face– a resistance group backed by Algeria, Morocco’s long-standing rival, and exemplifying the territory’s aboriginal population, the Sahrawi– is actually still fighting for management. In 2020 a 29-year ceasefire broke down.

On July 30th France called Morocco’s plan for Western Sahara the “only basis” to resolve the conflict. Algeria withdrew its emissary to France in feedback.
